Our journey on this planet would not have been possible without the green energy wizards – the plants! Thanks to their ingenious invention, photosynthesis, they transformed sunlight into food and oxygen, paving the way for human existence. Cheers to our green companions, who have not only kept us alive, but also driven our evolution! Inspired by this fact, I am working on series of artworks called ‚step out‘. On the one hand, this title is intended to point out that it was plants and, more generally, nature and ecosystems that created a biosphere on earth from which humans were able to emerge. On the other hand, I want to encourage us to step out of a system that is driving the destruction of these ecosystems and the biosphere. A biosphere, that is the basis of our life.
